Outreach and Education
Outreach and education are cornerstones to the successful translation of science to action. I have been fortunate to have taught at every level from pre-K to graduate student to lifelong learners. I am a strong believer in active learning as a method to engage students and community members in material, this has been informed in part by my experiences and in part by the coursework I completed for my certificate in college teaching.
